So living here for the past 5 months, I have to say this is not the mecca of restaurants. We are lucky if I can count 5 on my hand that I'd eat at.
One day after one of my many clinic appointments the mom in law and I were craving breakfast.
But were to go???
LOL
No where else TO GO but Terrasse Du Lac. A small home down joint serving fresh comfort food. Menu on a bored, seats all close to each other and packed full of locals.
I just loved the coziness of it all, I finally felt the small town charm I was looking for when I moved here.
I had the daily breakfast special: 2 eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes, toast, and homemade apple spread, oh and something us Quebecer's call cretons ( pork spread containing onions and spices).
It was perfect, hit the spot, the coffee was not to strong and the waitresses were so friendly. I saw others eating lunch, that looked basic but down home.
Will return for sure to try the rest of the breakfast and lunches out.
